Chalk bags should be handy as while climbing walls, our hands tend to sweat which makes them slippery. Using chalk powder on them will make them dry again, and they will not slip. 

The best technique for being a good climber is to push legs to move upwards rather than using hands. But if the person trains himself with this technique, he will feel comfortable to climb in the long-term.

The arms should be extended, and the weight should also be hanged low. Bend your knees for more power. The feet should be well gripped on the rocks before the hands move. Try to place a foot on rocks that have more surface area so that the feet get more support. The weight has to be kept on toes rather than on the hand. Putting pressure on the hands will make the person tired very soon.

The climber has to shift the bodyweight towards the direction he is moving. Then step the foot upwards. Afterward, move the matching hand in the same direction and repeat all these moves.

While performing at a height, you should use proper harnesses and helmets to prevent accidental falls. You can also use gloves for an excellent grip and preventing rashes on the hands.
